Visually Speaking

Immersion is great! Daunting, but effective. I really appreciated doing a review each session of the previous week’s vocabulary. Words on the board and quietly mouthing the sign really helped with learning.

I sometimes had questions during class that would take way too longer to fingerspell, so if there was some opportunity to ask questions verbally, writing it out, or some other means that would have helped too.

Phenomenal and extremely patient instructors. Voice off lounge is friendly, open and comfortable. Everyone there is more than happy to engage and encourage communication via ASL. 10/10 will be signing up for a follow up class!

Really great class! Helpful teaching methods and practice with games which aid in memorizing the signs. The teacher was a lot of fun, I just wish the class was longer/more days.
